For this Session, our focus will be: The Actor's Trust - Running Your Small Business In business, the numbers and strategy matters! It's paying attention to the areas that most miss that can be the key to breaking through to success! This means that learning to be a savvy business person and how to navigate the legal and financial aspects of the industry can be a game changer! In this month's course, you’ll learn how to set your business up for growth, take advantage of financial opportunities, navigate the legalities of actor work and explore if/when union membership is right for you! We'll cover: Actor Unions and how they work Legal, State and Federal considerations for the jobs you book Financial Structures for your acting career from training to bookings Business formations and tax structure By the end of this month, you’ll be more prepared to navigate the financial, fiscal and legal sides of your career to begin building toward continued growth and success! *This month features special guests from SAG-AFTRA and Actor's Equity unions as well as professional financial planners from Creative Financial Group right here in Cobb County who will be in studio to meet with actors and discuss their financial and union questions!
